Triathlon Ontario Launches New Beginner Friendly “GoTri.ca” Resource Website
– Site to be a welcoming first point of contact resource tool for new entrants interested in the sport -
June 14, 2017 – Triathlon Ontario, the recognized Provincial Governing Body of Multisport in Ontario, announced that it has launched a new website www.GoTri.ca and a new Twitter handle @GoTriOntario. The new site and social media feed offers a clean, easy to use source of basic Multisport information specifically targeting beginners. The site provides locations of appropriate entry level sanctioned Ontario events based on specific search parameters.
The new site also offers a sleek club and coaching directory, training tips from coaches and introductory information about the sport and equipment needed.
This initiative is just one of many that Triathlon Ontario is undertaking to help encourage grass roots level participation and increase growth in the sport. By helping to promote and access its Ontario sanctioned races, clubs and coaches, Triathlon Ontario believes it can reduce the perceived barriers of entry and expose Multisport to a wider audience.
If someone you know is interested in our sport, just tell them to GoTri.ca!
The new site does not replace www.triathlonontario.com, the regular site is still an important resource tool for those involved in Multisport.
