Two-day Premium Age Group Swim Clinic
– World renowned swim guru Dr. G to provide technical analysis –
December 4, 2017 – Triathlon Ontario, the recognized Provincial governing body of Multisport in Ontario, announced registration for its two day Age Group swim clinic featuring world renowned “Dr. G” is now open.
Triathlon Ontario has put together a premium swim focused clinic for Age Groupers featuring one of the world’s foremost experts in swim analysis, Dr. Genadijus Sokolovas, known around the world as “Dr. G” and Triathlon Ontario Provincial Development Coach Greg Kealey. The two day clinic will focus on assessment, analysis and feedback so athletes can work on maximizing their swimming potential.
Dr. G has worked with numerous Olympic gold medalists like Michael Phelps and international swim federations including USA Swimming from 2000-2008 where he was Sports Science Director.
Participates will receive a video of their velocity tests and also a written document with drill descriptions. There will be an on deck analysis of some of the videos and the coaches will go over corrective items as well as in water and dry land drills to help correct areas of concern.
Pool sessions will take place at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre on:
Wednesday (Dec 27th) 2:30pm-4:30pm
Thursday (Dec 28th) 2:00pm-3:30pm
Spots are limited to 20.
Current Triathlon Ontario member price $185 + HST
Non-member price $200 + HST
Please note, this is not a “Learn to Swim” clinic. Athletes considering this clinic should have the ability to swim 400m continually without stopping in a pool.
