Spots Still Available for Two-Day Age Group Swim Clinic
Looking for something to do next week? Why not work on your swim stroke with a world renowned swim guru?
Triathlon Ontario has put together a premium swim focused clinic for Age Groupers featuring one of the world’s foremost experts in swim analysis, Dr. Genadijus Sokolovas, known around the world as “Dr. G” and Triathlon Ontario Provincial Development Coach Greg Kealey. The two day clinic will focus on assessment, analysis and feedback so athletes can work on maximizing their swimming potential.
Dr. G has worked with numerous Olympic gold medalists like Michael Phelps and international swim federations including USA Swimming from 2000-2008 where he was Sports Science Director.
Participates will receive a video of their velocity tests and also a written document with drill descriptions. There will be an on deck analysis of some of the videos and the coaches will go over corrective items as well as in water and dry land drills to help correct areas of concern.
Pool sessions will take place at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre on:
Wednesday (Dec 27th) 2:30pm-4:30pm
Thursday (Dec 28th) 2:00pm-3:30pm
Current Triathlon Ontario member price $185 + HST
Non-member price $200 + HST
Please note, this is not a “Learn to Swim” clinic. Athletes considering this clinic should have the ability to swim 400m continually without stopping in a pool.
If you are between 14 and 23 Triathlon Ontario has put together a premium swim focused camp December 27-29th also featuring Dr. G.
The camp will focus on assessment, analysis and feedback so athletes can work with their home coaches to maximize their swimming potential. The camp is at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre and features over 11 hours of pool sessions with extensive class room time for feedback and analysis.
