Triathlon Ontario’s Series of Free Beginner Triathlon Clinics

– Clinics open to anyone registered for the events or anyone interested in learning more about triathlons –

The clinics are generally 30-60 minutes in length and are open to anyone, whether taking part in their first event such as a Try-a-tri or Give-it-a-tri,  or for those wanting to bring an interested friend to see what a triathlon is all about.

The purpose of the series of clinics is to help ensure that new participants to the sport have a positive first experience and those that are potentially interested in taking part, have a chance to see what our sport is all about.  Triathlon Ontario strongly believes that the best way to be introduced to Multisport is through a sanctioned club and coach.

The clinics will generally cover topics like what to expect during your first race, what its like to swim in open water with other people, how to get into your wetsuit, how to set up transition, course overviews etc.  Each clinic will differ slightly depending on venue and coach but all will help new athletes to overcome any uncertainties or anxieties typically experienced when competing in an event for the first time.

No preregistration is required.  All clinic locations are at the race sites.  For more information for the races and directions, please click on the race names. For more information about the clinics please email the specific coach for which clinic you may be interested in.
