She has a passion for helping people improve and work towards goals, whatever they may be. You won’t see her client’s doing bicep curls unless their goal is to get bigger biceps – exercises and programs are functional, purposeful, and goal-oriented.
As a Chiropractor, Dr. Lewis believes in treating a painful area while also looking at the whole patient to determine the cause of any dysfunctions related to their current complaints. Educating the patient in his or her condition is of primary importance in order to work with them in correcting any abnormal biomechanics and getting them back to their active lifestyle ASAP. Dr. Lewis uses a variety of therapeutic techniques but emphasizes Chiropractic manipulation of the spine and extremities and soft tissue treatment modalities as well as rehabilitative exercise in order to correct muscle imbalances and decrease the chance of injury or re-injury in the future.
