Welcome to the first of Ontario’s races in the National Development Series!
The National Development series is an initiative of Triathlon Canada and the Provincial Triathlon Organizations to give Junior and U23 athletes an opportunity to compete during pandemic shutdowns. Races are focused on short, fast, and technical racing.
Though open to all Triathlon Ontario members, races are intended to develop a clear national ranking through points assignment for Junior and U23 Athletes.
This Ontario first in the series will be a Virtual Time Trial using the online cycling platform Zwift.
Registrants will need the following:
- current Triathlon Ontario Annual membership;
- bicycle with trainer;
- device running Zwift;
- internet connection.
Scheduling and Setup
Provincial Development Coach Greg Kealey will contact registrants between the close of registration and the race in order to schedule each participant a spot in the race.
Results
Results will be collected and validated by Triathlon Ontario, then forwarded to Triathlon Canada for points assignment, ranking, and publication. Rankings are expected the Friday following each race in the series.
