Jamnicky and Bélanger-Melançon Win Indoor Triathlon Provincial Titles
April 13, 2018 – Triathlon Ontario, the recognized Provincial governing body of Multisport in Ontario, announced the overall Indoor Triathlon Provincial Champions, decided this past Sunday.
Fresh off competing at her first Commonwealth Games, Dominika Jamnicky took the win at race number three to go along with her win at series race number 1, earning a maximum 50 points in the series. Kira Gupta-Baltazar edged out Cate Skain 41 points to 40 points to decide second and third place in the series.
On the men’s side, Pierre-Luc Bélanger-Melançon won race number three and earned the series title with 42 points. Second place went to Tristen Jones with 40 points and third place was a two way tie between Jacob Chant and Eamon Hagarty.
