Provincial Training Day TPASC
January 13 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
The day is open to all 14-23 year old athletes on the development pathway including those athletes already part of a club or coached program. Provincial Training Days are a component of the Provincial Development Program and are intended to enhance existing training environments of all athletes. This Training Day will consist of a technical swim and run session along with a seminar provided by the Canadian Sport Institute Ontario.

The swim and run sessions will be a focus on balancing speed and efficiency.
Seminar #3
As a reminder, the third Provincial Development Program online seminar in the nutrition and injury prevention seminar series will take place on January 25th. The seminar will be “Sport and Performance Nutrition – fueling and recovery”. If you haven’t signed up for seminar notification an you are an athlete, coach or parent of an athlete on the development pathway between the ages of 14-23, you can do so here.
Project Sport Initiative Under the leadership and guidance of Provincial Development Coach, Greg Kealey, Triathlon Ontario was one of only two sports out of 22 applications, to be selected to partner with the Canadian Sport Institute Ontario through its Project Sport Initiative. The funding initiative focuses on partnering with provincial sports to deliver best-in-class sport science, sport medicine, and pathway support for Olympic and Paralympic partners. Throughout the 2023-24 season a number of sport science opportunities will be available for Ontario athletes through camps and training days, who are looking to enhance their training environments and programs.
