Provincial Training Opportunity for Development Athletes
– Nov 17/18 weekend includes two swim sessions, run, strength and mental performance sessions –
October 26, 2018 – Triathlon Ontario, the recognized Provincial governing body of Multisport in Ontario, announced a Provincial Development Program (“PDP”) drop-in training opportunity on November 17 & 18 in Ottawa. This is an opportunity for all Ontario development athletes aged 15-25 to take advantage of Provincial level coaching and experience the benefits and services of the PDP.
Schedule
Saturday, November 17th
Run and Strength Training – 10am – 1pm
Athletes will review hip/glute and swim specific strength programs designed to improve run efficiency and endurance.
Peak Centre for Human Performance
Mental Performance Seminar 1pm – 2pm
Elysian Insight – Focusing on distraction control and race planning,
Peak Centre for Human Performance
Swim Session #1 – 3pm – 4:30pm
Swim sessions will be a combination of technical and endurance based workouts.
Nepean Sportsplex
Sunday, November 18th
Swim Session #2 – 8am -9am
Goulbourn Recreation Complex
Cost of the weekend will be $85.
