Registration Open for Triathlon Ontario’s Feb. 24th Indoor Tri
– Feb. 24th Toronto race to be 4th in the 6-event series –
December 17, 2018 – Triathlon Ontario, the recognized Provincial governing body of Multisport in Ontario, announced registration is now open for its February 24th Indoor Triathlon being held at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre between 10am and 2pm.
Each race in the series may offer a slightly different format for the swim/bike/run but for this race, the format is simple, swim as many 25m laps as possible in 15 minutes, ride as far as possible in 15 minutes on a stationary bike, and run as many laps as possible on an indoor track in 15 minutes. The farther you go, the more points you score.
This is an ideal race for beginners or athletes gunning for the Provincial title. All you need is a swim suit, shirt, shoes, and a big smile.
The overall Provincial Champion will be decided by accumulating the most points in a maximum of four of six races. Relays are available and participants also have the option to select their wave start time (subject to availability).
There will be a warm-up period in all swim lanes before the start of he fist wave and two open warm-up lanes throughout the event.
